Traditionally, men tend to dominate formal peace-building roles in Liberia with women frequently excluded from national processes. The start of a movement to change this, however, begins with establishing a common understanding and acknowledgement of the challenges.

This project aims to support the Liberian national peace-building process by engaging the most vulnerable populations and working with them - through film - to tell their own stories and build a new network of local peace-builders.

The Reel Peace project is proudly supported by United Nations Peacebuilding.
